It’s the perfect complement to the game, going deeper into some of the setting’s key players and factions, and it’ll be available in four formats – hardback novel, eBook, MP3, and a luxury collector’s edition with a leather-effect cover.
With the new edition basically here, now is the time to start reading and getting all that inspiration you need. Plus, it’s always good to see someone so involved in the community as Mike getting some work put out there in the Black Library! Plus, who doesn’t love reading about the early days of humanity (relatively speaking to 40k…).

Recently resurrected, Lord Commander Eidolon of the Emperor’s Children is still reeling from his death at the hands of Fulgrim.
Determined to cure his sluggish form, he goes in search of pure Emperor’s Children geneseed – only to find his curse may actually be a blessing.
Eidolon had a rough go of it for a while there! First, he had his head cut off by Fulgrim after he angered him (he even had his blood drank by members at the banquet…). Then, Fabius Bile reattached his head and brought him back, and as you can imagine, he was a little thrown off by the whole situation.
How you would feel if you had your head reattached? Well, you don’t have to wonder much longer as that is where this story picks it up. Will he turn this blessing into a curse or will things just get worse? Well, read the story and find out!
