Two great Batman Animated Series are coming to HBO Max in January 2021, get ready to binge old greatness soon.
WarnerMedia recently announced a bunch of shows coming to HBO Max, two of which are great Batman cartoons: Batman The Animated Series and Batman Beyond are both on the way.
Batman Animated Series Are Coming To HBO Max
Among a bunch of other DC series and movies coming to HBO Max, Batman Beyond, and Batman The Animated Series are the caped crusader-based additions. Both of these originally aired between 1992 and 2001, making them a part of a bunch of our nerdy lives.
Batman Beyond is immediately noticeable for its unique design in Terry McGinnis as batman in the future. Terry is the successor after Bruce Wayne got too old and had to retire, with the interesting twist of being a pseudo-son made from cloning Bruce’s DNA.

Batman The Animated Series shares continuity with many of the early DC universe animations. As such it is also one of the predecessors and caused a ripple of films, series, and video games. A huge bonus to both of these series is Mark Hamil’s Voice as the Joker. His performances were so good at the time, that he would continue to voice over for a ton of the spin-offs and even video games.
Either way, both shows are great and highly worth watching. Get ready to watch old classics again or for the first time on the 21st of January 2021.
