Bethesda recently joined forces with Microsoft and now they also are included in the Xbox game pass. Here are all the details.
Xbox Game Pass has been available for a while now, but recently as games from Bethesda have joined the lineup, the value becomes greater and greater! To put it simply this is like the video game version or Netflix, or Hulu, or Disney+! Let’s go over some of the details.
Bethesda Joins XBOX Game Pass
Xbox has released an official post, which has all of the games from Bethesda’s lineup, along with descriptions, however here we will go over our favorites among the lineup.
Dishonored
This complete compilation includes Dishonored, winner of over 100 Game of Year awards, as well as all of its additional content – Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches and Void Walker’s Arsenal.
Most of these games are older, however, they still hold their own. Bethesda made a name for themselves by creating iconic worlds and letting players get completely engulfed in the RPG aspects of it. In Dishonored’s case, if you want to experience a unique world through the eyes of a sort of steam-punk assassin, this is for you.
Fallout New Vegas
Welcome to New Vegas. It’s the kind of town where you dig your own grave prior to being shot in the head… and that’s before things really get ugly. It’s a town of dreamers and desperados being torn apart by warring factions vying for complete control of this desert oasis.
Even further back in the time capsule, Fallout New Vegas was a huge hit alongside each of the other fallout games as well. Sometimes exploring a post-nuclear war wasteland is just what you want, and for that, each of the fallout games can scratch that itch in their own way.
The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion
Step inside the most richly detailed and vibrant game-world ever created. With a powerful combination of freeform gameplay and unprecedented graphics, you can unravel the main quest at your own pace or explore the vast world and find your own challenges.
Among the SciFi RPGs, Bethesda is also known far and wide for The Elder Scrolls fantasy RPGs. Skyrim was one of the Biggest RPG releases ever and continues to find support in its community. Oblivion was the predecessor that helped lay the groundwork that would become and still is one of Bethesda’s most popular and successful RPGs.
Although each of these may have a certain, aged, shine, they are all undoubtedly worth the time to check out. Whether you played them in your childhood, or want to see what the originals were like, be sure to check them each out and decide which might be worth your gaming time.
With these games only scratching the surface, are they a good selection? Have you played any of these games before? Which game is your favorite?
