In what seems to be a co-ordinated roll out, several Australian Games Workshop stores have posted this images that seems to indicate the return of Specialist Games the division of GW that handles fan favorites such as Blood Bowl, Necromonuda and BATTLEFLEET GOTHIC, as well as continued support for LoTR!!

Also posting the same picture are the following GW Stores, three in Australia, one in the Western United States.

Plus to add more fuel to the fire, one manager has already commented on the news to a customer:

So very interesting times indeed. Is this a precursor to a major company initiative that will see the return of so many beloved games? Will we see perhaps a shotgun blast of takedown notices to companies infringing on GW’s IP worldwide by selling “Unofficial” specialist game miniatures ?

Will hobbyists get back into older games such as BFG, Necromunda, or play the “official” style Blood Bowl once again?

Only time can even hope to tell what the result of today’s news will be for hobbyists, game stores, and model makers world wide.

Wow the hobby is on FIRE right now!  What a day, what a day indeed!
