seafarers of catanThe new Catan 3D Expansion: Seafarers and Cities & Knights has been announced and just looks amazing- check it out!

Who likes playing on a flat board anyway? The long-awaited 2nd 3D box is hitting the shelves soon and will add a whole new layer (like 3D layers…) to the game! It wasn’t that long ago they announced the 3D version of the original game, but now it seems they are continuing the trend!

The game hasn’t hit pre-order quite yet, but they are targeting a Fall release, which isn’t really that far off yet. Let’s check out the upcoming game!

Catan 3D Expansion – Seafarers & Cities & Knights:

CatanThese types of sets are usually a little more expensive, but it only makes sense as they really put a lot of detail into each piece, and even hand paint every tile! They are also usually made for the collector and not the average player due to the price, but if you love the game, these sets are just really cool to have around!

If you missed out on the other 3D set, you can check that out right here!

Catan 2Let’s hear what they have to say about the new edition:

CATAN – Seafarers: Send your ships to explore and discover uncharted islands off of Catan’s shores. Perhaps you will build new settlements there or even discover valuable goldfields. This is the first time this expansion has been produced in 3D.

Catan 4

CATAN – Cities & Knights: Improve your cities into great metropolises. Combine your forces with the forces of the other players to defend Catan against the relentless barbarian attacks.

Each tile is hand-painted. Each player piece is antiqued for a look that’s full of character. It’s the ideal add-on for your CATAN – 3D Edition.

Catan 5That does it for this one, just an awesome game to look forward to!
