Dusty Justy 1

Dusty went for a two patrol Tau list with the first being led by a Commander and an Ethereal. Commander’s are always great options thanks to their extensive loadout options, while the Ethereal is a fantastic support piece thanks to their new update.

Troops see a simple 10 man kroot squad for some cheap bodies to help sit on an objective or at least soak a few shots.

Elites see a 5 man crisis squad added with ion and plasma rifles for a pretty decent anti-armor set of weapons. There is also a set of 4 stealth suits that help out by bringing in a few burst cannons for chaff control.

Fast Attacks have 4 Kroot Hound for a few cheap mobile models that might be able to at least serve as a distraction.

Heavy Support closes out the first detachment with a 3 man broadside unit that can help snipe out armor threats thanks to their rail rifles.

The second patrol is led by another Commander, once again taking advantage of their durability and great weapon selection.

Dusty Justy 3Troops add in 10 more kroot for more cheap bodies. Elite also brings in another set of 5 Crisis suits, this time with airburst and ion weapons for a bit more chaff clearing potential. 3 Stealth suits also bring in extra burst cannons for more chaff clearing power.

Finally closing out the list are 4 more kroot hounds to round out the points and maybe serve as a minor distraction for enemy shots.
