It looks like Age of Sigmar is getting another HUGE deal if the pricing rumor holds up. Warhammer Fantasy’s Island of Blood is becoming the Spire of Dawn!
The portents have aligned and it looks like a huge staple for Warhammer Fantasy, the Island of Blood Starter is coming to Age of Sigmar next week!
Remember this?
Here’s what it came with:
This boxed game contains: more than 70 finely-detailed Citadel miniatures, forming two plastic armies: High Elves (a High Elf Prince on Griffon, a High Elf Mage, 10 High Elf Lothern Sea Guard, 10 High Elf Sword Masters of Hoeth and five Ellyrian Reavers) and Skaven (a Skaven Warlord, a Skaven Warlock Engineer, 40 Skaven Clanrats, a Skaven Master Moulder, two Skaven Rat Ogres, a Skaven Warpfire Thrower, and a Skaven Poisoned Wind Mortar). All 74 models are exclusive to this box.
Now it looks like it will be back next week as a port over to Age of Sigmar with a “Value Box” product designation:
From the limited nature of this offering it looks to confirm the RUMORED price of £50, which equates to around $70. Also according to the description this box set comes with round and square bases for each model!
So look for this new starter set at a rumored ‘Start Collecting Box’ price next week from Games Workshop!
