Games Workshop has temporally closed their main Australia/New Zealand warehouse amid shifting guidelines in the region halting re-stocks.
With new waves of COVID surging and some regions playing it safe, Australia and New Zealand have decided to follow suit. Warhammer Community just released a statement about their warehouse to help protect their staff workers in line with local guidelines.
WHC had this to say regarding the closure:
Due to the ongoing efforts to combat the spread of COVID-19 in parts of Australia, the main Warhammer warehouse in the region is being closed temporarily. The warehouse is located in Ingleburn, and folks in that area, in line with their local authorities guidelines, are being asked to be especially vigilant. As ever, Games Workshop puts the safety of its staff and customers first, so we hope you’ll support us in taking this small but important precautionary step.
This has a few ramifications.
First website orders via games-workshop.com to Australia or New Zealand will not be able to be fulfilled until the warehouse re-opens. Second, when stores run out of stock, they won’t be able to restock anything. Lastly, some stores will remain open with the most recent releases, so you might still be able to get releases for a little while.

Pre-orders were confirmed to be reserved and set aside in the warehouse for those who reserved them, however, you’ll have to wait for the warehouse to open for the deliveries to be fulfilled.
It’s unfortunate, but there’s nothing we can really do about it, just be patient with one another, we are all in this hobby together. GW wouldn’t close the warehouse unless absolutely necessary.
There aren’t any timelines, because there can’t be. We just will have to wait for the situation to clear up and hopefully they will be able to open back up.
