Geek Gaming Scenics Calls It Quits on YouTube

Geek Gaming Scenics is a pretty large YouTube channel focused on miniature wargaming. According to their about us page:

Luke is the face and brains behind Luke’s Affordable Painting Service (APS) YouTube channel which started in 2016.
The channel was set up by popular demand and started out as a commission painting service,
The channel exploded in popularity with over 70,000 Subscribers and 5 million views because of Luke’s honest product reviews and amazing tutorials.
Luke teamed up with Geek Gaming in 2017, After a chance meeting over some modelling paint.

However, in 2023, Luke felt its time to move on…

A Large Miniature War Gaming Youtuber Calls It Quits

There’s not too much to say on the topic. GGS came, saw, and conquered. Now he feels tired of the content creation hamster wheel and has decided to move on. According to his latest video, he’s pivoting to a  more traditional office job and changing up the pace of having to constantly be creative and stressed in order to get videos up.

So unfortunately, we won’t see any more videos with Luke for now it sounds like.

He is, however, leaving the Geek Gaming Scenics online store up, so you can pick up some hobby essentials and support him as he moves on to his next stage in life.

While everyone seems saddened about his departure, he was a great content creator, and this is a happy ending for him. Luke said he has done all he wanted with the channel and is moving on to the next big thing in his life!

That being said, the rest of the video was another great tutorial video on a sweet environment he made of the Mordheim universe, just scaled down a bit.
