Get ready for tabletop tournaments and convention fun, as the registration details and hotel information for Adepticon 2022 is here!
This event is one of the biggest wargaming events in the world, so it’s worth going to if you can. With so many of the other events getting canceled last year and into this year, this is going to be a big deal! The Adepticon team recently gave out some new details, so let’s break it down!
40k, AoS, & More! AdeptiCon 2022 Registration News
First and foremost, there are changes to the venue planned, so let’s go over those.
AdeptiCon will, in 2022, span two dedicated venues. Both state-of-the-art facilities are within two miles of each other (a roughly 5-10 minute drive). The first you know well, and the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center will remain our primary venue. We’re code naming this AdeptiCon Core. The new addition is the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, codenamed AdeptiCon Outer Rim. The Hyatt Regency adds roughly 200 convention-dedicated hotel rooms on peak nights, an almost extravagant 500 additional parking spaces, thousands of square feet for events, dedicated shuttle service, more dining options, and even a pool.
Some familiarity and some new, which is great as it sounds like there will be more spots this year and potentially a wider spread of events during the convention! There aren’t any things set in stone, but as they said in their post all of the main events are planned to take place at AdeptiCon Core, while the extra offerings like historical gaming and such will be at the AdeptiCon Outer Rim.
Now for the really important news…
AdeptiCon 2022 convention hotel block opens for registration on Tuesday, August 24th at noon Central Time. The Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center rates will be 135.00 per night and the block will initially open for a four-night booking. The Hyatt Regency will be 130.00 a night and be available for one or more nights.
Adepticon usually sells out extremely fast, so get your trigger finger ready and be prepared to click if you want in on the action next March!
