” I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of figures, I am a keen member of society figures of soldiers which meets once a month in a pub in Regent Street. Why collect figures of soldiers? I like to play a ‘ war ‘a game invented by HG Wells, who was also a collector. It is a game full of strategy and is to last nine hours to complete ” Peter Cushing
Yikes nine hours for one game? Heck people tell us 40k takes too long. That literally is an all day affair full of rich liquors and mannerly conversions. Can you imagine playing any war-gaming with this gentleman, it would literally be spectacular!
I would like to propose in you next game of 40k using some of Grand Moff Tarkin’s catch phrases in honor of this distinguished gentleman of wargaming.
Phrases like the ones below could surly make their way into your next engagement.
You would prefer another target, a military target? Then name the system!
Fear will keep the local systems in line. Fear of this battle station.
But watch out for Princess Leia’s famous retort… The more you tighten your grip, Tarkin, the more star systems will slip through your fingers.
Have fun with it guys, that may be what this hobby is all about after all!
