GW has temporally closed their North America warehouse amid bad weather causing huge delays to new releases and more.
The big North American Games Workshop Warehouse in Memphis, Tennessee has been faced with tons of snow, making it dangerous and impractical for employees to work or even be able to ship out products. The announcement was made via Warhammer Community, but we will go over the details below.
GW Closes North American Warehouse In Memphis
For now, all our colleagues are safe and well, but as a safety precaution (and, quite frankly, as a practical consideration) we’ve temporarily closed our North American warehouse.
As most hobbyists have realized, many products have been pretty heavily allocated, making it harder to get the products you really want as they come out.
However, you can still get them with delays. With this closure expect to see extended wait times from online deliveries and local store re-stocks, now that the North American warehouse is closed. It’s important to realize this is all temporary, (hopefully just like the allocations), but sometimes weather strikes and makes it harder for companies to operate and hobbyists to get the items they need to hobby.

It’s unfortunate, but there’s nothing we can really do about it, just be patient with one another, we are all in this hobby together. GW wouldn’t close the warehouse unless absolutely necessary.
There aren’t any timelines, because there can’t be. We just will have to wait for the weather to clear up and hopefully they will be able to open back up.
As of right now, it looks like all North American store re-stocks, as well as the delivery of the new Hedonites of Slaanesh items, will be delayed for a minimum of one week.
Are you affected by the closure? Did you order anything recently online?
