GW Goes Limited Edition? w/ Rulesets! Flyers Official?

By Rob Baer | February 1st, 2013 | Categories: Editorials, Warhammer 40k Rumors

Well its official I guess, Games Workshop is taking a page from Apple and doing exclusive limited edition direct order only products (books) that affect the games we love, and well if you don’t get it, you don’t get it.

Seems fair right?  No it’s not, IMHO. GW has just created an even worse demand driven product, that has nothing to do with collectors at all.

It’s aimed at players, and well it seems like your going to miss out if you are a serious player and do not get this book.  But you can always buy it for double on eBay, hurrah!

Wizards of the coast thought they could get over on Magic players a few years ago and release four expansions a year, and well it flopped cause players were outraged at the the money grab.

Is it time to take a stand gentlemen?

Don’t get me wrong I love new rules, but this just feels wrong all over! -MBG
