GW just revealed two new factions for their Specialist games division that will be hitting the table top soon! Take a closer look as we break it all down.
Games Workshop just dropped previews on a Troggoth and his “Warband” for Nightvault as well as a Bloodbowl team. Join us for the latest.
GW Reveals More New Models & Board Game!
Mollog – an ancient Dankhold Troggoth – just wants a nap! Stirred from a long slumber, he now seeks a bit of peace and quiet, and is more than happy to crack the skulls of anyone who’d deny it to him.
Mollog’s “Warband” isn’t exactly the most elite thing out there. I mean…There’s a Squigeon, an angry mushroom, and a rock with a tongue. But that’s what makes these guys so awesome. This entire faction is just some cranky inhabitants of the vault led by one really grumpy Troggoth. All he wants is sleep. He doesn’t care about any treasure or glory.
Mollog is accompanied by a small pack of Squiggly beasts, including the already infamous Bat Squig, the toxic Spiteshroom and the Stalagsquig – the squig you never knew you wanted until now
Champions of Death Bloodbowl Team
Ever wondered how zombies would do in a game of football? Well, Champions of Death are coming to Bloodbowl! This tram is a ragtag band of undead held together by a Necromancer (probably somewhere in the bleachers).
You’d think undead with almost no muscle mass would be pretty slow in this situation. But does that mean they’re a lot harder to take down? Keep an eye out for rules on these guys in the future!
Rise & Fall of Anvalor
There’s a new board game on the way as well. It’s designed for 1-4 players with six different factions. Take control of the land around you and build a name for yourself. As the game goes on, you’ll be able to influence more territories when your power grows forcing them to crumble or join you. That’s all we’ve got on the game for now. We’ll for sure be hearing more about it in the future.
Now that we’ve seen the latest previews, let’s hear what you have to say!
What do you think about what’s next for GW? Are you going to be playing the Troggoth in Nightvault? Will he be able to keep pace with the elite Warbands lurking the Nightvault as well? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
