By Travis Pasch | November 11th, 2020 | Categories: Necromunda, rules, Warhammer 40k Rumors

necromunda hor walpaperThe Phyrr Cats are coming right at us, as GW just revealed new models and rules for the Necromunda Underhive that are coming soon!

With a host of really cool minis coming from Forge World for Necromunda, we expect the same type of release for these. If you pissed the last release of the awesome doctor, go check it out here. Today on Warhammer Community, they released the stat line and some special rules for these crazy cats.

Who doesn’t love cats? Well honestly some people don’t but you know here at Spikey Bits we do! These cats are similar to the Phelynx cats but don’t need toxin to kill. They use their sheer size and speed to get the job done!

Just when you thought the Underhive was safe Cats of Unusual Size show up…

Phyrr Cats of the Underhive: Necromunda Rules Spotted!

Phyrr CatIt looks like these cats will be used by House Escher. While they have used many exotic animals before, these are almost as much of a status symbol as anything. So if you don’t want your Escher leaders to fall behind the latest trends, you’ll have to pick some of these up! There’s not much worse than falling behind the other leading ladies of the house! Let’s hear what they have to say about them:

The Escher gang queens view their Phyrr Cats differently – they’re as much a status symbol as they are a pet. That means if you hurt one of these things, you’re going to have a very angry Escher ganger looking for vengeance, and the little creatures are violent enough themselves.

The Rules:

Cat StatsThey don’t have a crazy stat line, but more than enough to cause some damage! If you keep these with your Gang leader, they will be able to help her dish out that much extra damage.

Independent Cat

But of course, like all cats, they are more independent than most animals. You can get them much further from their owner when the need arises. Lands on their FeetLook, you can’t just knock a cat off something and expect it to hurt them. These cats can fall from pretty high heights and survive! These should be coming out fairly soon, let’s hear what they have to say about the release:

We’re expecting a big shipment of Phyrr Cats coming into the underhive – we’ve not received any concrete information as to when they might be arriving, but we’re expecting them some time during the next solar cycle.

Will you be adding these cats to your gang? Have you been liking these Forge World releases?
