Time to get bloodthirsty as tons of new Soulblight Gravelords Vampire and undead minis that were revealed during day one of Warhammer Fest Online!
It’s time for another big online GW Preview for all things Warhammer! Here are the latest reveals from Warhammer TV and Warhammer Community!
Warhammer Fest: New Soulblight Gravelords Vampire Models!
All next week, from Monday to Saturday, we’ll be packing each day with reveals of brand new things coming to Warhammer, as well as hearing from some of the teams behind them. It’ll be just like you’re there in person, watching the panels live.
Each day will be themed around one particular part of the Warhammer hobby, so check the schedule below and find out when your favorite games are coming up. Trust us when we say you’ll want to see everything anyway – there are some spectacular reveals on the way.
You can tune in to Warhammer Community from Monday 3rd May to see all of the reveals as they happen from 6 pm (BST) onwards, or catch them live on Twitch.
Day one of Warhammer Fest Online was a doozy jam-packed with tons of amazing minis. If you’ve been looking to start an undead force, well, your options just got a lot cooler. With 4 new Vampires and Dire Wolves previewed, your options really are expanding.
Check out the video for a quick overview, but we’ve got tons of pictures below for you to drool over!
Radukar the Beast:
As it turns out, rumours of Radukar the Wolf’s demise have been greatly exaggerated. Now known as the Beast, his animal rage has been unleashed. He bides his time prowling Shyish and plotting revenge. Swollen with power and corrupted in form, he has retained his animal cunning, lust for power, and thirst for blood (and that wolf-pelt cloak, which honestly fits better now).
For those of you who were actually able to grab Cursed City and killed Radukar the Wolf, well, he’s back and better than ever! This reincarnated version will really smash through the enemy, but no rules quite yet.
Belladamma Volga, First of the Vyrkos:
A vampire ancient beyond calculation – and a powerful sorcerer to boot – the matriarch of the Vyrkos is a force to be reckoned with. She’s said to be able to command Dire Wolves directly and even curse living mortals to become wolves with a gesture of her wizened hand.
They mentioned in the preview that she can actually turn people into wolves and summon them. So if you want to go all Bavmorda on your enemy, she is the way to go! They did also mention she’ll be decent in combat but didn’t really give any stats on her.
Warhammer Fest: Vampire Vengorian Lord
Embodying the true nature of all Soulblight vampires, these transformed lords revel in self-loathing. Vengorian Lords are powerful warriors and wizards – fighting at the head of Soulblight Gravelords armies from every dynasty.
This kit will have two variants, so you can either build this generic lord, or the named character version.
Lauka Vai, the Mother of Nightmares
Vampires of the Avengorii dynasty seek to slake their thirst on the very largest and strongest prey – and they’re led to battle by Lauka Vai. Her twisted body rears up high over the battlefield – the splendour and horror of her form representing the darkly irresistible nature of the Soulblight Gravelords.
They didn’t give too much about her rules, but considering she is a master of beasts, we assume she’ll have some pretty sweet special rules to buff all your beasts. This leads us to the last new minis revealed!
New Dire Wolves
Dire Wolves are a Battleline unit for any Soulblight Gravelords army, fighting not only for the Vyrkos and their vampiric kin, but all manner of undead forces.
The new minis just look so much better than the existing ones, so nothing to complain about here.
Be sure to check out all the other Soulblight Gravelords Vampire models that have been revealed already outside of Warhammer Fest here!
