We’ve heard that Hobbit and LoTR products have been getting rotated out of Games Workshop stores, is Horus Heresy the nail in the coffin for nearly 15 years of Tolkien miniatures?
It also stands to reason that sculpts of the new HH sprues over the current “push fit starter miniatures” like Dark Vengeance indicates a dedication to quality that we currently normally only see in multi-part box sets.
Seems like it would make sense that they would release the Betrayal at Calth miniatures separately, post holiday season.
It even has a huge cross over potential with Forge World as well, so any continuation of interest past the initial box set release seems like a boon for both sides of Games Workshop as a company to boot.
