Female Desert Scorpions Tallarn Alternatives: Unboxing

The Site & Resources

The site is very well set up and easy to navigate. She has a ton of character alternative minis, some fun takes on models we all know and love, and even bunches of cool tank bits. Even if you just want some pieces for conversions and not entire minis, they have you covered!

They are also starting to do these with some 3D printed bits, so you get some resin bits and 3D printed bits in the sets.

Desert scorpionsEven though these Scorpions are a little more than a plastic kit, they are a super fun alternative to change up the look and feel of your army. And with them being hand-crafted boutique resin, it just is super cool to add a few of them to your army.

The Bits

Lady Scorpions bitsThe detail on these is just super crisp! You get one sprue with the face shields and one without.

Lady Scorpions bits 2You get two sets of the same legs, but you can also buy these separately if you just want the bits.

Hobby hackA quick hobby hack for you, when you’re cutting off a small part, put some blue-tac behind it to take the force, it will keep things from snapping.

Lady Scorpions bits 5They did these parts as 3D prints to keep them from curling or breaking because the other resin sometimes won’t hold up. These look to be really high-quality 3D printed bits and have already been cured. They are also holding very strong, so Rob isn’t worried about them breaking off.

Built Minis

Size Comparisons

size comparisonThey are ever so slightly smaller than the Guardsman, but the size looks great.

size comparison 2Obviously, the Primaris is much bigger, but that’s how it should be!

That does it for this unboxing! They are just really fun alternative minis to give your army a totally different feel!
