LEGO has a system to let community members propose ideas, and if they get voted, they move to review- checkout the proposed X-files set and more!
LEGO Ideas is an interesting system in place for community members to propose kit ideas and then the community gets to vote on it! If a given idea gets 10k votes, they move to review by the company and then have a chance of becoming an official kit! Right now, four are pretty close, let’s check them out.
LEGO X-Files & Community Ideas Approaching 10k Votes
Each of these 4 projects is within 1,000 votes! Considering they each have over 200 days left, and in the case of 3 of them, they have over a year, and 2 have nearly 2 years left. Needless to say, they have plenty of time to reach their goal. The closest right now is the Roman Warship, only needing a measly 114 votes!
As stated above, once these hit 10k they go to LEGO for review and have a chance to become an official kit. If you want any of them to become official, be sure to check them out on the official site and vote-vote-vote! You can also check out each of them and get word from the originators/creators of each project.
