1st Place: Derek Holder – Custodes
Derek went for a battalion of Shadow Keeper Custodes led by Trajann, a Captain on Jetbike, and a Captain in Terminator Armor. Trajann is an absolute unit providing a fantastic model in combat and giving the list access to both hit and wound re-rolls. The two captains also provide hit re-rolls along with being more mobile or slightly cheaper respectively.
Troops bring in 3 Custodians, which as the standard option are simple and sturdy, 5 Prosecutors, which are very cheap bodies, and 3 Sagittarum, which have good ranged weapons.
Elites bring in 3 Allarus Custodians which are great multi-purpose models. There are also 2 Dreads, which can decimate in melee or take out armor threats from afar thanks to the destructors. There is also a squad of Wardens, which helps protect characters by preventing them from being targeted by ranged weapons when nearby.
Finally closing the list are 6 Praetors, who are high mobility units and are perfect for some devastating charges into melee combat. Plus the new Salvo launchers are no joke as well.
