A new tactical RPG video enters the fray as Marvel Midnight Suns as what we assume to be an XCOM game is was just unveiled!
Firaxis, the creators of games like XCOM and Civilization VI, has teamed up with Marvel and released the first official trailer! Not to mention an official release date and gameplay reveal scheduled.

Marvel Midnight Suns XCOM Official Announcement & Date
Darkness Falls. Rise Up! Marvel’s Midnight Suns Launches Worldwide in March 2022 from Firaxis Games
The trailer starts with a group of well-known heroes like Ghost-rider, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, and more, trying to open an ancient tomb.
Inside that tomb is someone known only as “The Hunter”, and is the only being known to have beaten Lilith, the Mother of Demons, ever before.
Speaking of which, Lilith is the main villain, attempting to awaken her master. Of course, the heroes on earth must fight to stop her as her plan is sure to wipe out the planet.
The team of heroes join up The Hunter and form a dark order. The goal of this group is of course to defeat Lilith and save the planet. You know, just typical hero stuff.
While we don’t currently know how the game will play, we know it is made by Firaxis, so gameplay similar to XCOM is likely, but not guaranteed. An official gameplay reveal is coming very soon… On September 1st, the world will get to see what Midnight Suns will play like!
The release date was also announced as March 2022 which given that it was just announced is awesome! Sometimes it sucks to have a reveal with release dates 2-3 years in the future, but not for this one!
