While we don’t have any substantive info about the movie, there was a supposed title leak for Matrix 4! Let’s check out the details.
An Instagram post from the Hair Stylist for Matrix 4 may have leaked the movie title before an official announcement…
Matrix 4: New Movie Title SPOTTED
In case you didn’t know, the original release date moved from April 1st, 2022 to December 22nd, 2021. This is great considering in the current climate delays are way more common than early releases. As for the leak, it appears that the movie’s hairstylist received a coat as a gift from Lana Wachowski and James Mcteigue who are the Director and Producer respectively. The leak comes in because she posted a video of it over on IG, but has since taken the post down due to what can be assumed was the mistaken leak.
The Jacket features some signature Matix text. It does however look awesome and fans of the movies will notice her a mile away if she wears it in public. The big leak has to do with the tag, however…
The tag features a message that reads: “…during these extraordinary times in the making of Matrix Resurrections. Wir lieben euch, Lana & James.”
The original IG video was taken down shortly after it was posted, however, fans already got a hold of it and the topic is now blowing up inside the community. While we can assume Matrix Resurrections is the official title and this leak is legit, technically speaking leaks can always be wrong, or things can change in response to them.
However, seeing how it all went down, this is most likely the title and we may see an official announcement very soon to match it.
