Warscroll Battalion: Grand ArmadaKharadron Overlords Battletome

On a War Footing is giving you the ability to move and disembark from ships during the Hero Phase for units in the Battalion, while still allowing you to act as normal for the rest of the turn. Double movement anyone?

Deployment & Tactics

Kharadron Overlords Battletome

The Deployment & Tactics section is something new to Battletomes, but the Kharadron Overlords play unlike any other we have see before. This section gives you a beginning strategy on how to field and play them in your next Age of Sigmar game.

Let’s not forget about the latest Battletome preview we got from Games Workshop during their Facebook Live broadcast.

Abilities: When picking an enemy unit for the Settle the Grudges Artycle, pick D3 units instead

Artefact of Power: The bearer of Grudgehammer can re-roll failed hit and wound rolls in the combat phase for attacks that target and enemy unit which was picked for the Settle The Grudge Artycle.

Great EndrinworksKharadron Overlords

Any Skyvessel can be given any one of the above stated Great Endrinworks.

Now let’s find out what some of these units can actually do! On to the Battle Scrolls!

Aether-KhemistKharadron Overlords

Let’s stop and take a look at that Missile Weapon… 10″ range with 3D6 attacks! Compund that with a -2 rend and it seems like that one weapon alone is enough to strike fear in your enemy’s eyes. But then you see the Atmospheric Isolation Ability… An Aether-Khemist can use their Anatomiser at the beginning of the combat phase to reduce the attack characteristics by 1, to a minimum of 1, to all enemy models within 3″.

Arkanaut Company

Kharadron Overlords

The Arkanaut Company is a Battleline unit, 10 models costing 120 points with a max of 30 models. The attacks that these guys are packing is diverse and deadly. You can’t beat that point cost at all!

Grundstok Thunderers

The Grundstok Thunderers are coming in with 5 Missile Weapons, and is that a 36″ range? There’s not much in the game shooting that far, as of yet. These guys have 1 health and a 4+ save. So sit back, far back, and fire away!

Arkanaut Ironclad

Kharadron Overlords

Kharadron Overlords

This is the Mother Ship of all Ships coming in with a whopping 18 health! Throw in 7 different weapons to attack with, it’s own pretty much book of abilities, and this is one ship that will make you tremble in your scurvy boots.

Between BoLS and Games Workshop we have a really good idea on how to start playing our new Kharadron Overlords army, and gives you a good amount of information to start getting those list ideas put together.

What are your thoughts? Are you going to be picking any of the new Kharadron Overlords? If so, what are you planning on for your list? Let us know in the comments below.
