Chaos clutched another win at the Moxies May tournament that happened over the weekend, and these Warhammer 40k army lists took the top!
The tournament is over and now we’re able to look at which lists managed to secure a place at the top! Check out what these winners brought in their armies.
Moxies May 40k Event: Top 40k Army Lists
Thanks to Best Coast Pairings we can look back at the event as if we were all there ourselves.
If you wanted to see the names and factions of the overall winners, we’ve included that below.
3rd Place: Daniel Hesters – Aeldari
2nd Place: Seth Oster – Tau
1st Place: Seth Piper – Thousand Sons
Seth’s first place Thousand Sons list is a battalion led by Ahriman, an Exalted Sorcerer, and an Infernal Master. Ahriman is arguably one of the best psykers in the game, making him an easy inclusion for any T-Sons list. The Exalted Sorcerer is another great psyker, however noticeably weaker than Ahriman and of course a little cheaper. While the Infernal Master give the list access to the pact system for even more support options.
Troops bring in a total of 20 Rubric Marines, a great durable squad with built-in psychic capability.
Elites bring in the point-dense models with 20 Scarab Occult Terminators going for 845 pts, but they are well worth it! They are extremely durable, have a psyker built-in, and are one of the faction’s best weapons in the Soulreaper Cannon.
Finally closing out the list is a Heldrake, a decent harass unit that can fly around and squeak out some chip damage from above.
