Nathaniel’s winning Necrons featured a 3 detachment setup starting off strong with The Silent King. The Silent King is a fantastic model, giving the Necrons fantastic support abilities and being pretty good in combat himself as well! At his price point, he is simply too good for Necron players to not consider.

The second detachment is a patrol led by a Command Barge, which is a pretty sturdy and mobile HQ choice that can buff nearby units’ movement and a single unit hit rolls, and a Chronomancer, which can help with charge rolls and gives out a 5+ invuln.

Troops see a single 5 man Immortals, which are slightly more elite than their warrior counterparts, and some decent weapons.

Nathaniel Bjorge 2Elites have a C’tan as a big beefy solo unit that can put in serious work if allowed to live.

Fast Attacks then bring in 3 Scarab Swarms to wrap up a unit in melee and 9 Tomb Blades for some mobile ranged threats.

The final Detachment is another Patrol led by a Technomancer, which can help to reanimate dead core units if the squad isn’t fully wiped out, earning extra value over the course of the game. it also brings in 5 more Immortals in the troop slot.

Elites bring in another C’tan, with Fast Attacks also bringing in more Scarab Swarms to be an annoyance for your opponents.

Closing out the list is 6 Lokhust Destroyers for some fantastic ranged anti-armor threats.
