Here’s a first look at the new Cities of Sigmar army box Seraphon Vanguard and more releases, hitting pre-orders this weekend.

New AoS Cities of Sigmar Army Box, Seraphon, & More: FIRST LOOK
We’ve seen Cities of Sigmar previews for a really long time now, so it’s great to actually be able to order the army box! Plus, the Seraphon Vanguard box is also on the way, which has some decent value inside.
Your first chance to get your hands on the brand new Cities of Sigmar miniatures and battletome is nearly here, with a jam-packed Army Set coming to pre-order on Saturday. Two units of 10 Steelhelms and five Cavaliers muster around a Freeguild Marshal and his attendant Alchemite Warforger.
We’ve known about these models for quite a while now, but finally getting their release is still exciting!
In addition to the miniatures, this set contains a special edition of the new battletome with an exclusive cover, a deck of warscroll cards for all 52 Cities of Sigmar units, and four transfer sheets covered in iconography for your city of choice.
It’s hands-down the best way to start a new Cities of Sigmar army, or update your existing one with heaps of new units.
With a complete set of all new models and a full rules update, this box is a big deal for anyone waiting for good ‘ol humans to get their update in Age of Sigmar.
Vanguard Seraphon
If you prefer your warriors of Order with a few more scales and forked tongues, Vanguard: Seraphon has the models you need to enact the will of the Old Ones. A fearsome Saurus Oldblood commands a hard-hitting, durable force from the back of his Carnosaur, unleashing three hulking Kroxigors and 10 Saurus Warriors to bury the hordes of Chaos under a rain of clubs, claws, and teeth.
Featuring the new model updates, this is the perfect place to start with some detailed minis for new Seraphon Generals!
Combat Arena: Lair of the Beast
Lair of the Beast pits a rogue’s gallery of unlikely heroes – previously only available in Warhammer Quest: Blackstone Fortress – against a monstrous Ambull in gruelling combat, and is releasing this Saturday in the USA and Germany. Likewise, Space Marine: The Board Game released in the United States earlier this year, and now comes to retailers across Germany and Japan
Three classic Warhammer board games are also releasing in Chinese for the first time. Blitz Bowl: Ultimate Edition, Combat Arena: Clash of Champions, and Warhammer Quest: Lost Relics are all set to launch this Saturday in stockists across China, offering exciting gameplay in tight, fast-paced bursts.
A new board game may not be the most exciting for some, but they are usually pretty cheap and fairly fun for unique alternatives to playing in the Warhammer Universe! Also, tons of language updates for other products are always great to see as they help grow the Warhammer hobby worldwide.
