new-next-week-horus-heresy-battle-group-astartesHere’s the latest on the new plastic Horus Heresy Astartes Battle Group box and exclusive Votann figure releases hitting pre-order next week!

Games Workshop has revealed all the new releases hitting pre-orders this Saturday, October 14th, at 1 PM Eastern time here in the States!

If you’re a fan of internecine battles over the whole galaxy then boy do we have some treats in store! A host of goodies for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy are available to pre-order next weekend.

Everything below will be available to pre-order for two weeks, from 10am BST on Saturday the 14th of October. Plus, as a result of the fortnight pre-order window currently in force, you have extra time to secure your new Space Marines and all the Warhammer Underworlds, Warcry, and Warhammer Age of Sigmar goodies that went onto pre-order yesterday!

New Astartes Battle Group & 40k Votann Pre-Order

It’s interesting to see the Horus Heresy Astartes Battle Group box and exclusive Votann figure also getting a two-week pre-order period, just like the recent Space Marines and Warcry releases.  Either way, if you want any of these pre-orders, you’ll have a couple of weeks to score them!

Bundle boxes are always a great way to save money, and it looks like this Horus Heresy Astartes Battle Group box will be worth picking up!

A ton of products make up next week’s new release lineup, spotlighting Horus Heres, again for a two-week pre-order; here are all the details from Warhammer Community.

Exemplary Battles of the Age of Darkness: Volume I

Exemplary Battles of the Age of Darkness Volume I

This 112-page hardback is the next expansion for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. It features updates to Exemplary Battles from the previous edition of the game, with reworked missions and revised unit profiles, as well as an entirely new Exemplary Battle. You’ll also find army rules for a corrupted Emperor’s Children Legiones Hereticus force, and rules for the incredible Fulgrim Transfigured miniature. It will be available as an ePub if you prefer to take digital versions with you when you play.

It looks like this will be the beginning of the third legion’s descent into madness, rules-wise, with all the details on that Fulgrim Transfigured miniature that we hope to see released soon!

Legiones Astartes Battle Group Pre-Order

Legiones Astartes Battle Group

Dive straight into the Age of Darkness with this loaded boxed set which includes a whopping 32 plastic miniatures, representing a ready-made Battle Force which can be painted and played as either Loyalists or Traitors.

Deploy the newly updated MKIII power armoured Space Marines alongside a Land Raider Proteus and – for the first time ever in plastic – a heavily-armed Deredeo Dreadnought. You’ll also get a set of Legiones Astartes Special Weapon Upgrades, as well as almost 400 transfers featuring markings from the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists!

The value on this box is pretty wild and definitely worth a pickup for just the sheer number of models inside, not to mention the savings.

Legiones Astartes: MKIII Tactical Squad

Legiones Astartes MKIII Tactical Squad

Tactical squads are the mainstay of the Space Marine Legions, and the force by which the Great Crusade reconquered much of the galaxy. Reinforce your Legions with troops clad in the iconic MKIII ‘Iron’ power armour, which includes additional build options for vexilla, vox, and Sergeants – including plasma pistols and power fists. The box contains 20 miniatures, which can be fielded as a pair of 10-model Tactical Squads or a single 20-model Tactical Squad – they’re also fully compatible with existing MKVI plastic upgrade parts.

Just like we saw with the MKVI Beakies and other armor variants, the MKIII will also be available in a 20-pack as well!

Legiones Astartes: Deredeo Dreadnought – Anvilus Configuration

Sons of Horus Armoury of the Sons of Horus

Deployed in limited numbers to each of the Legions, the Deredeo is a specialist Dreadnought with unparalleled survivability that makes it highly sought-after by Traitors and Loyalists alike. Available for the first time in plastic, the Deredeo is a walking weapons platform which can be assembled with either the anti-infantry firepower of the Anvilus autocannon battery or an armour-rending hellfire plasma cannonade.

Another port over from Forge World Resin, the Deredeo is coming in both plasma and Autocannon variants!

Sons of Horus: Armoury of the Sons of Horus

Sons of Horus Armoury of the Sons of Horus

Open the armoury of the Sons of Horus and utilise their ceramite-breaching equipment against their former brothers in your games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Designed in secret for the Warmaster’s treacherous campaign, these Forge World resin weapons upgrades are an excellent way to equip your commanders and officers with deadly and thematically appropriate wargear, such as Carsoran power weapons and banestrike bolters.

Another fantastic upgrade kit is here, this time for the Sons of Horus, that will make your characters and squad leaders stand out from the rank and file!

Warhammer Commemorative Series – Leagues of Votann: The Ancestors’ Wrath

Warhammer Commemorative Series Leagues of Votann The Ancestors Wrath

This commemorative miniature is available to order until 8am GMT on Monday the 6th of November 2023 and everyone ordering within this window will be guaranteed to receive a copy. We will ship them out within 180 days of the ordering window closing.

The official Warhammer Day miniature, this time for the Leagues of Votann, seems to be skipping the big day by a few weeks. This model will be available on made-to-order starting November 6th for delivery in April 2024.

Stormvault Skirmish Case

The new Stormvault Skirmish Case is the ideal way to carry a Kill Team squad, a Warcry warband, a Blood Bowl team, a Necromunda gang, a Warhammer Underworlds warband, or any other small but elite force of miniatures. The case is lined with smooth silicone bristles that close together with the lid and grip your miniatures securely in place, protecting them from damage. The bristles are precisely spaced to hold any type of miniature on a 25-40mm round base and up to a 75mm oval base.

Another highly memed Games Workshop product, this case may or may not turn out to be a hit depending on its price point.

What do you think of the Horus Heresy Astartes Battle Group box and exclusive Votann figure releases hitting pre-orders next week?
