Today Rob takes a look at the new Imperial Walkway resin bases from Elrik’s, which match great with Cursed City and 40k!
We are going to show you all the different sizes they have available, what the bases look like unpainted, and some finished bases. That way you can decide if these are worth your hard-earned hobby dollars to make your army look better on the tabletop. Let’s go!
Elrik’s Hobbies Imperial Walkway Resin Bases: Unboxing
A ton of game systems are constantly changing their base sizes. Elrik’s Hobbies really understands the conundrum and they have basically every base size available! For this style of base alone they have over 15 sizes, pretty crazy!
You can even get the flier base with this set so it fits in the rest of your army. They even have the beveled edge bases as well, so if you play those game systems that use them, they have you covered as well. Possibly the coolest thing about these, other than having literally like every size, is they can look extremely different depending on how you pain them!
Your opponent could be using the exact same bases as you and you may not even know it because they can fit in with so many paint schemes.
For those who don’t want to rebase everything, they also have base size converters too so you can keep your existing bases. Just pop them in the new size converter and go.
The Bases
All the bases look great and are just super crisp! When you use the flying stand for these you will have to glue these down, but the amount of detail they can fit on there is just insane!
Since they basically every size you could use these for almost any army! Each pack you buy comes with a ton of variety, so they will tie your army together but not all look the same.
Painted Bases
Rob had a buddy paint these up for him, and you can tell they look so different from the ones on the site. Basically, any way you want to paint yours, they will look great and fit right in.
