Don’t miss the new Orruk Warclans AoS Battletome Warscroll rules that were spotted for the new edition!
We knew that the Orruks have been on deck release along with Stormcast ever since the 3.0 starter box dropped. Now with these rules being spotted, and the full battletomes are right around the corner it’s an exciting time for Age of Sigmar. Let’s check out the warscrolls and compare them to the current ones.
Each of these was spotted online via various forums just like this one.
New Goddrak AoS Datasheet
New Bonuses:
- -1 Armor Save (now 4+, was 3+)
- +4 Wounds (now 20, was 16)
- Axe is now 2 damage apiece (was 1)
What we don’t know:
- Special rules?
- Auras?
- Army synergies?
Overall assuming points don’t get bumped up a ton, these seem like good trade-offs. losing a save for a couple of extra wounds can be really nice assuming there are still ways to buff armor saves from other effects. The changes seem to be an overall buff for Gordrakk.
New Megaboss on Maw-Krusha AoS Datasheet
New Bonuses:
- -1 Armor Save (now 4+, was 3+)
- +3 Wounds (now 18, was 15)
- Rider Melee is now 2 damage apiece (was 1)
- Breath attack number of attacks is fixed to 4
- Maw Krusha melee is 3 dmg base (was 2)
What we don’t know:
- Special rules?
- Auras?
- Army synergies?
Overall, these changes are much in line with Gordrakk, assuming points don’t get bumped up a ton, these seem like good trade-offs. Once again, these seem to be mostly a buff.
New Orruk Brutes AoS Datasheet
New Bonuses:
- Both 2″ range weapons are -2 rend
What we don’t know:
- Squad special rules?
- Army synergies?
Overall, as a troop choice points matter a ton. Assuming they stay where they were, they may come out as much better options than before.
