Games Workshop has revealed a new game for Age of Sigmar. Come find out what they have to say about Warhammer Underworlds: Shadespire.
Warhammer Community revealed Underworlds: Shadesprire, a new game with organized play for Age of Sigmar will be releasing in late 2017.
This is a new game, set in the Mortal Realms during the Age of Sigmar. It has been designed specifically for competitive, organised play, to support our growing community of gamers out there. For the moment, pretty much all we have in terms of detail is the cryptic video above, but you’ll be hearing much more about this new game, and seeing some of the new miniatures, very soon…
Furthermore we got a glimpse at the display board at the GAMA Trade Show event in Las Vegas, courtesy of Miniwars.
They announced recently and they warn, “It’s going to be very different from what we’ve done so far .. “
This is turning out to be a big year for Age of Sigmar players. It’s apparent that Games Workshop is realizing that AoS is a much easier game for new players to get into, and veteran players are enjoying the less complex play style. Not to mention the minis look amazing!
They were quoted saying Shadespire is going to be very different from anything they’ve done so far. What does this mean? It’s going to be an organised play system, but we’ve seen those before from Games Workshop. So what could be so different? Well, they’ve successfully sparked our interest, and we’ll be putting out updates as soon as we get them. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
