A new undead faction is coming to Conquest in the way of the Old Dominion- check out what we know so far!
Para Bellum did something most game companies would scoff at, they actually let people decide the newest faction coming to the game! The Old Dominion, an undead faction inspired by ancient Greece, won the vote, and now we’ll be getting them soon. The release looks to be early Q1 2022, so about a year away, but that’s not too bad when you consider all the work that has to go into it.
Conquest has always been a game very focused on the community, so this is just another way they’ve shown they really care about what the people want. They also listened to the community and recently released a bunch of starter sets for First Blood, which you can check out here. But for now, let’s hear a little more about the upcoming faction.
New Faction Coming to Conquest from Para Bellum Games
These were the three factions that everyone had a chance to vote on, and Old Dominion won pretty handily. Let’s hear how they describe the new Faction:
Spawned by the amalgamation of Hazlia, humanity’s fallen god of old, with the Horseman Death, the undead of the Old Dominion are neither infinite in number nor mindless creations. Fueled by the Will of Hazlia, his faithful revel in their un-life, plotting to convert their living descendants to the one, true faith of their Un-God.
It’s always cool to see a new take on the classic undead, so we can’t wait until we get to see some new minis! Again, they are slotted for Q1 of 2022, so we expect to see a bunch more previews along the way.
