The Resident Evil live-action TV show is coming to Netflix this July just a year after a movie reboot and new game- check it out!
The franchise has been pumping out all kinds of different media lately, and basically for years now, so this isn’t too surprising. The show will take place 14 years after the outbreak, and run for 8 shows to start. Like anything else on Netflix, if it does well, we expect to see more in the future.
Even though the show isn’t that far off, details are pretty hard to find right now, but at least we have some stuff to go off. The show will premiere on July 14th, so not far off nwo whether you want it to be or not!
Resident Evil Live-Action TV Show Coming to Netflix Soon
Let’s hear what Netflix has to say about the upcoming show:
Year 2036 – 14 years after a deadly virus caused a global apocalypse, Jade Wesker fights for survival in a world overrun by the blood-thirsty infected and insane creatures. In this absolute carnage, Jade is haunted by her past in New Raccoon City, by her father’s chilling connections to the Umbrella Corporation but mostly by what happened to her sister, Billie.
Hopefully, a trailer will come out soon, so we can see what it looks like. Let’s hope they keep the show gritty and interesting. We expect each episode to be more near the hour mark than the 30 minute one, so they should be able to fit plenty in. At this point, they have so much source material to work off, our hopes are high, but let’s just hope the trailer doesn’t let us down!
