RUMORS: Limited Edition Grogu Miniature Spotted

By Travis Pasch | October 3rd, 2022 | Categories: Star Wars, Star Wars Legion, Warhammer 40k Rumors

A new limited edition Star Wars: Legion Grogu miniature has been spotted; check out what we know so far about the release!

Obviously, the actual box has been spotted in the wild, but that doesn’t mean it’s fully confirmed, so take this with as much salt as you need. We have a source that has given more info on the release, which indicates this might be extremely limited worldwide.

The picture comes from Star Wars Legion, and while all we have seen is just the box so far, we hope to know more soon.

Just to note, it will be interesting to see how the pricing works on this, as the last few times they have done this, some of the models were free, some were cheap, and others were really expensive. So just something to think about.

RUMORS: Limited Edition Grogu Miniature Spotted

This box set was spotted on Facebook via the Legion Holonet

Limited edition Grogu

Here are a few things to think about right off the bat; this is a tiny mini, so what can they do to make it really different? Well, maybe they will have him stop the flames and add some cool effects that way. Then, you can’t take this mini on its own (in the game). It comes with Din Djarin in the normal pack, so to actually play the limited edition mini, you’ll have to either buy that or IG-11 (in theory)

Luke skywalker cardsLimited Edition Luke Skywalker from 2020 still sells for $100-$150; note the alternate art Core Set cards.

In the past, the cards inside were similar to the non-limited version ones. They just had slightly different artwork adjustments, etc. So, we don’t expect the rules to really differ from what we’ve seen.

Grogu and Mando 2(normal version)

An industry insider indicated to us that these box sets will be available to the top 200 stores worldwide (we assume by sales volume from Asmodee).

However, we’re not sure exactly how they will be giving them out, but with them going to 200 stores worldwide, this is going to be super limited, meaning if you can get one from your FLGS, we would as it’s going to go crazy on the secondary market for sure (even though he’s tiny but mighty).

If you want to see the details of the current model, you can check that out here and order your non-limited version!

Either way, keep your eyes peeled for more details soon!
