It looks like new minion-style units are coming to Marvel Crisis Protocol in the way of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and ninjas…
There was a leak from a European retailer as they posted some new units expansion sets that no one has seen before. Then, Atomic Mass Games’ Twitter sort of confirmed the rumor with their recent post. This would be an interesting direction for the game to go and not something we’ve seen before.
Obviously, at this point, this is all still rumored, but things do seem to be lining up for it to happen. The retailer probably just forgot when they were supposed to post the pre-order, but we’re not a hundred percent sure on that. Let’s check it out!
Rumors: Minion-Style Units Coming to Marvel Crisis Protocol
These were the two new boxes that they posted, and as you can see, it looks like there will be unnamed minis involved. While playing with either Nick Fury Jr. or Elektra would be awesome, we’re more focused on the minions.
This would add a totally new fold to the game and maybe really change things up. Some card options could be that they are all Threat 1 or have the unit grouped together for a single card? We’re not sure yet how things will work, but it’s a really cool idea no matter what! Plus, it would be really fun to have little agents and ninjas running around trying to stop the big characters.
Then Atomic Mass more or less confirmed something like this (maybe just Fury) will be on the way soon. However, one very interesting thing is it does have the available date as of 11/03/2022 (meaning March) so really not that far away now.

Well, that’s quite obviously a S.H.I.E.L.D. emblem in miniature so most likely for Marvel Crisis Protocol. so this could mean one of two things really, you’ll be able to play with the agents, or maybe Fury will be joining the fray on his own or with S.H.I.E.L.D. as a playable affiliation. Either way, it could be a really cool element to add to the game if there were more minion-like options available.
