Signum Games Kitsune Kitsune Clan Kickstarter: Unboxing

Kitsune Clan Kickstarter 2They just recently fulfilled their third Kickstarter, so they have a great track record for getting their projects funded. Plus, if you back them within the first 12 hours you get this mini for free! Which how can you complain about free stuff?

Rob probably won’t play the game but the minis are so cool he couldn’t pass it up.

Kitsune Clan Kickstarter 3The starter was going for $69, but the base price was $59 at launch, which still isn’t super cheap for 4 models but because you get everything you need to play the game and the hand-crafted minis for only $15 each it definitely has a strong value in that regard.

There are five pledge levels so if you want more stuff, you definitely can. Plus they have a ton of add-ons and they have a ton of big minis- a lot of which have changed pricepoints since these images were taken from their preview.

So be sure to check out the current pledge levels here.

Signum Games Kitsune Clan 2They also have a bunch of terrain and really cool add-ons like this coins pouch with real copper coins.

The Starter Box:

Signum Games Kitsune Clan 4This is the base level starter box and this box is a prototype for promotion. You get all these accessories inside plus the four resin minis (Rob did get a few more minis though).

Signum Games Kitsune Clan 5One of the really cool parts is you also get a quick start guide that helps you play right away. Just everything in the box really looks and feels the part, just immersing you in the game even more.

The Minis

Signum Games Kitsune Clan 6As Rob said, the minis are just so cool and the designs are great. Rob wished he had left one unbuilt because they go together super easily. Plus the resin is super high-quality.

Signum Games Kitsune Clan 8There were almost no issues with warping either, plus even the small parts are very sturdy. They are on 50mm bases and are very well sized.

Signum Games Kitsune Clan 9Most of the minis come with different arm options as well, this one came with three arm options.

Signum Games Kitsune Clan 10The amount of detail they are able to fit into each mini is really sweet.

Signum Games Kitsune Clan 11This is the banner that was warped a little but that could have been Rob’s fault as he left it on his porch for a little while…

Signum Games Kitsune Clan 13You can even get a fox riding a giant koi and this Warhammer-style guy.

Signum Games Kitsune Clan 15This is Rob’s favorite mini of the group and why wouldn’t it be?

Final Thoughts

Signum Games Kitsune Clan 3Overall this is a really cool project that even if you’re not in it for the game, the minis alone may definitely be worth it.
