Seth’s winning Black Templar list featured a single battalion led by a Chaplain, a Primaris Chaplain, and high Marshal Helbrecht. The two Chaplains give the army access to support through litanies, while Helbrecht has some support auras and a fantastic stat line that allows him
Troops bring in 10 Assault Intercessors for some decent bodies and a Primaris Crusader squad which grants a pretty good melee squad with some extra wounds thanks to the size of the squad.
Elites bring in the previously popular Bladeguard Vets, because apparently, durable melee threats are always in fashion. Along the same lines 5 Vanguard Veterans with Claw and Storm Shields, act as durable melee threats than can shrug off bullets and pack a serious punch in melee. There are also two Redemptor Dreads with Gatlings and Plasma Incinerators for a mix of Anti-armor and chaff clearing ranged weapons.
Fast Attacks bring in Outriders for some extra mobility and a hint of ranged potential.
Finally closing out the list is a 4 man Eradicator squad which are some of the best foot-slogging anti-armor ranged options in the game.
