Did you notice the surprise new Web exclusive bundle that was up for pre-order on GW’s site?
GW’s new Heroes of the Imperium is a set of models from 2017’s Dark Imperium. Unfortunately, with the arrival of 9th Edition, this box is out of print, and it’s harder to get them. Luckily, every once and a while GW will run some MTO and Web Exclusive print runs to help add some extra copies into circulation and let you get your hands on them if you missed them before.

This old starter set is getting pretty aged, heck some of you may not have even seen it before! A few weeks ago, three of the Death Guard Characters from this box were released alongside the Death Guard codex.
Now the Space Marine Exclusives are going up for sale in case you may have needed those as well- we’re looking at you Primaris Ancient!
Previously we had a variety of coverage on the box, however, the most interesting might be the value breakdown post which shows that you’ll save money with this MTO bundle. However it is old, so the values haven’t been adjusted for their age- if anything prices have gone up since 2017!

Heroes of the Chapter $75
This kit includes 52 plastic components that build the following models:
– 5x Primaris Intercessors with bolt rifles, including a Sergeant
– 1x Primaris Lieutenant with master-crafted auto bolt rifle
– 1x Primaris Lieutenant with power sword
– 1x Primaris Ancient
The set also includes 5x 32mm round bases and 3x 40mm round bases, as well as a Dark Imperium transfer sheet with 580 decals covering the Ultramarines, Space Wolves, Blood Angels and Dark Angels Chapters.
As we said before these models were previously available in the Dark Imperium boxed set.
Each of these characters and troops is pretty standard but offers unique load-outs and poses, so it’s a good pickup if you need them. Not to mention it will give your list that little extra bit of unique appearance if you missed out on them in 2017.
