Tau Unload At Let Freedom Ring: Top Army Lists
Thanks to Best Coast Pairings, we can look back at the event as if we were all there ourselves.
3rd Place: Jeremy King – Custodes
2nd Place: TJ Lanigan – Thousand Sons
1st Place: Thomas Ogden – Tau
Thomas and his winning Tau were a two detachment set up, with the first being a Patrol led by a Coldstar Commander, featuring some great chaff sweeping weapons on an extremely mobile body that is very point efficient.
Longstrike is also present and is a tank all on his, meaning he has great firepower and a durable body with decent mobility.
Within the No Force Org Slot, five Bodyguards can help out characters but are mainly just durable ranged threats that can target chaff or armor as needed.
Troops keep it at the minimum with 10 Kroot for the cheapest bodies around.
Elites bring in extra Battlesuits, 10 of them to be exact, all running a mix of weaponry, making them efficient at a huge arrange of targets, all while being durable and sizeable threats that can pump out serious damage.
Flyers also bring in two Shark Bombers to help pump out a few wounds every turn via air superiority and their great mobility.
Finally, closing out the list is a separate detachment with Shadowsun, which is hands down one of if not the best single model in the faction. She offers great support along with insane stats and firepower, making her a serious threat that can simply carry games on her own.
