The Alamo GT: Top 40k Army Lists
Thanks to Best Coast Pairings, we can look back at the event as if we were all there ourselves. You can check out the event details here.
If you wanted to see the names and factions of the overall winners, we’ve included that below.
3rd Place: Colin McDade – Tyranids
2nd Place: Jason Manning – Tyranids
1st Place: Bryce Chapman – Harlequins
Harlequins take 1st and overtake the swarm of Tyranid lists. Bryce Chapman’s approach was a single battalion of Harlequin led by a Shadowsheer for Psychic support and a Troupe Master for those sweet-sweet wound re-rolls thanks to his aura. Troops bring in a total of 20 players across 4 squads for a decent amount of bodies and passengers for the upcoming transport section.
Elites bring in 2 Death Jesters to help snipe out characters and a single Solitaire to decimate models in melee.
Fast Attacks bring in 8 Skyweavers for mobile, durable, and flexible threats that can shoot or charge in to finish a unit off. Heavy Support brings in 2 Voidweavers which are great ranged anti-armor vehicles to help take off opposing armored threats from afar.
Finally, closing out the list are 4 Starweavers for the 4 Troupe squads to be transported up the field and eventually jump out of.
