Top 40k Army Lists Battle For Salvation GT: Eldar Phase Through
Thanks to Best Coast Pairings, we can look back at the event as if we were all there ourselves. Check out the details here.
3rd Place: Alexander Fennell – Necrons
2nd Place: Evan Tomchin – Tau
1st Place: Daniel Wohlmuth – Eldar
Daniels winning Eldar was a three detachment set up, with the first being a battalion led by The Yncarne. That’s a huge melee threat that can teleport around the field and a Farseer Skyrunner for mobile psychic support.
Troops bring in 10 Rangers and five Wyches for cheap bodies and 10 Troupes for some slightly better bodies. Elites bring in 10 Banshees for strong melee threats and five Scorpions for some slightly more flexible melee threats.
Fast Attacks bring in five Windriders, nine Swooping Hawks, and 3 Shining Spears, all of which provide a mix of mobility and ranged or melee prowess. Closing the first detachment is two War Walkers, which are cheaper armor options.
The second Detachment is just a Baharoth, a very mobile, very deadly melee lord.
The third and final detachment is just a Webway to give some extra deep strike synergy and maybe even add some cover to the table.
