The Fabricators Forge RTT happened over the weekend with some pretty sweet 40k army lists taking the top spots!
The tournament is over and now we’re able to look at which lists managed to secure a place at the top! Check out what these winners brought in their armies.
Top Warhammer 40k Army Lists: Fabricators Forge RTT
Thanks to Best Coast Pairings we are able to look back at the event as if we were there ourselves.
If you wanted to see the names and factions of the overall winners, we’ve included that below.
Also if you happened to miss it, the meta will be changing in some manner due to the new Balance Update for 40k that Games Workshop published earlier in November.
3rd Place: Sam Dayton – Space Wolves
2nd Place: Erik Hnida – Adeptus Mechanicus
1st Place: Ragnar Conant – Orks
Ragnar went for 2 detachments of Orks, with the first being battalion led by a Beastboss on Squigosaur and a Big Mek. The Beastboss helps out by providing re-rolls of 1 to hit to nearby Beast Snagga units, and the Big Mek is there for the extra healing to vehicles it can provide.

Troops add in a total of 30 boyz as they are the standard troop choice and can help swarm objectives. While 5 Kommandos serve as slightly more elite options while serving the same purpose, just slightly better.
Fast Attacks bring 10 Stormboyz for their all-important mobility to help harass or tie up essential ranged units, preventing damage to the rest of your list. Heavy Support on the only hand starts off with 2 Deff Dreads fully kitted for melee in hopes of causing some havoc and sniping units if allowed to sneak up and get in melee combat. 2 Mek Gunz on the other hand add in some ranged support that’s perfect for dealing with vehicles or high-toughness models.
Closing out the first detachment are 3 Trukks, likely to bring the 3 squads of boyz to their destination and preserve some of their strength.
The second detachment is an outsider led by a Warboos on Warbike, making for a mobile threat that needs to be bdealt with. 20 more boyz bring the total up to 50, making for a decently high amount of chaff for the opponent to chew through.
Fast Attacks bring in 3 Squighog boyz and 6 Warbikers for even more mobility, making a clear effort to punish opponents who can’t match the skirmish nature of these cavalry units.
Finally finishing the list is one more Mek gun for more ranged support and 2 Trukks for the final two squads of Boyz!
