3rd Place: Andrew Bourbon – Imperium
2nd Place: Rafael Harbinson – White Scars
1st Place: Mani Cheema – Orks
Mani had a really straightforward approach that just involved spamming his best units! His list is made up of two Outrider detachments. The first is led by a Deffkilla Wartrike which is just a fantastic solo unit. A small unit of Kommandos soaks up 50 points allowing him to get to a crisp 2k total.
Next is the big-ticket item of the first detachment, 3 units of 3 Scrapjets, which are great flyers that are hard to deal with and have an added bonus of being able to dish out mortal wounds when they are defeated. Finishing the detachment is 10 Stormboyz, adding some objective control and getting close to the 2k points target.
The second Detachment is led by a Big Mek with the ability to repair a vehicle (most likely a Squigbuggies) and a decent enough stat line by themself. Finishing the list are 3 units of 3 Rukkatrukk Squigbuggies. These are very point efficient and bring a ton of extra shots on a pretty mobile chassis.
What do you think about all three of these most recent lists? Do you like seeing Orks do well?
