Turbo Dork paints are some of the wildest and best on the market today. There are a ton of paint companies out there, but none do it like them, as these Turboshift paints are just out of this world!
It’s awesome to see them continuing to expand their line with new paints and this time they are bringing ten new colors! Let’s take a closer look.
Turbo Dork Releases New Expansion With 10 Awesome Colors!
This time around Turbo Dork is coming out with ten new paints, so if you want any of the colors, be sure to grab them soon before they sell out!
At the time of writing this, the full set is sold out (and we hope it will be available soon again), but all the singles are still available! So, we’ll take a look at some of our favorites!
Hemogoblin: $6.30
Normally when you mix red and green you get some shade of brown. However, if you throw blood-red paint and a dehydrated goblin together you get Hemogoblin, an interesting Turboshift known as a Zenishift. This paint appears differently depending on what color it is applied over.
Over white, Hemogoblin shows up as rusty iron like oxidized heme. Over black, it is a very, dark color that any greenskin would be proud to wear. The bottle photo illustrates this change from top (white) to bottom (black).
Cold Open: $6.30
Cold Open has a subtle shift from a cobalt blue to dark turquoise. It’s perfect for things that go bump in the night.
Despite being white in the bottle, Cold Open must be used over a black primer as it will not show when used over white.
Appleseed: $6.30
Appleseed, like the Granny Smith, has a tart and crisp feel to it.
Appleseed is bright green when applied over a white primer and is a slightly darker green over black.
