Score tons of Stormcast or Kruleboyz miniatures in the new Warhammer Age of Sigmar Stormbringer Magazine that just released!
If you saw the Imperium Magazine for 40k, this is basically the same thing, just for AoS. For those unfamiliar with either subscription, here are a few quick details. You get a handful of minis and other accessories (like glue, clippers, brushes, et al.) along with each magazine.
The models are mainly for Stormcast and Kruleboyz but aren’t a bad value for the number of minis you get and it looks like down the line you get some other factions thrown in. On top of the minis, you can get paint, dice, a game mat, a brush, a ruler, free gifts, and of course the accompanying magazine with each issue.
However, as of right now it looks like it’s only available in the UK and Ireland. This is how they did the 40k one as well, it started it out there, then slowly moved it to the rest of the world.
Meaning this is a trial run and if it goes well, the rest of us will see it pop up soon.
Let’s check out what you can score!
Warhammer Age of Sigmar Stormbringer Magazine Contents
The first mag goes for pretty cheap and you get three minis, some dice, a game mat, and of course the magazine itself. Here’s a little more about how the pricing works:
- Each issue costs £8.99, with the exception of issue 1 at £2.99 and issue 2 at £5.99.
- Premium subscribers pay £2 extra per issue.
- As part of your subscription benefits, one of your issues will be FREE and you will also receive five FREE gifts during the course of your collection.
The first four issues get you a decent number of minis and with the first and second one being cheaper, it’s not a bad value for the money. From that point on though they are all £8.99.
This is everything you could get if you paid for the whole thing, so actually an insane number of minis and some really big ones with some dragons and giants!
Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Stormbringer is your gateway into the Age of Sigmar and your chance to enter a new world. You’ll collect, build and paint two armies of incredible fantasy miniatures before entering epic tabletop battles.
