Windows 11 is out and can be downloaded right now, plus all devices with 10 will be given the upgrade for free- check it out!
The new operating system looks to have some decent upgrades, along with UI improvements, better integrations, and support. The new operating system won’t work for everyone, so if you want to see if you can download the OS, you can here.
They are planning on rolling this out in full in 2022 but if you want to be an early adopter you can. Because of that, however, it will not be compatible with all PCs right now so keep that in mind…
Windows 11 is Out & it’s Ready for Free Download
Some of the requirements if you want to download it are: Intel 8th Gen Coffee Lake or Zen 2 CPUs, Trusted Platform Module 2.0 support, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage space.
To get that free upgrade to Windows 11 now, follow these simple steps:
- Use Microsoft’s PC Health Check app first to see if you can actually grab the new OS.
- As with any time you are doing something like this, you want to back up important files and data.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update to check for updates.
- If Windows 11 is available for your PC, there will be an option to download and install it.
There are a few reasons you may want to upgrade, most notably, the new UI features, the Xbox support, Android support, and new workflow features. We haven’t grabbed it yet, but we’re sure it has a lot to offer.
Will you be upgrading early or waiting for the full rollout?
