Better listen up muggles, there is about to be a new Wizard in town. Harry Potter is set to burst into the table top miniature scene.  Come see the latest!

Expelliarmus! One of the biggest movie properties ever is about to come to the tabletop: Harry Potter.

The back of the Knight Models Suicide Squad rulebook has a very curious advertisement from the same company on it:

That was enough to send a lot of hobbyists into a frenzy this week as already there are tons of Facebook posts, as well as a brand new group dedicated to the Harry Potter miniatures game.

But that’s where the mystery deepens as Knight Models has been mum so far on additional details on the game, but fans are already going ham about possible terrain ideas, as well as what characters will make the first release:

What do you guys think this means? What kind of game? What kind of models? How will magic work? What scenery is everybody going to make? Will there be a free pdf version first and then a truly developed game like BMG?

Soooo many questions, So little time!

Another fan writes:

I don’t even know how to explain the level of excited I am . I have wanted Harry Potter miniatures to be a thing for years and the fact it was Knight Models that is making this come true is so awesome. I owe each member of the Knight Models staff a Butterbeer if I should ever meet any of them in Person.
Thank you Knight Models.

So for now checkout the Facebook Group, and keep your ears open for more on what may shape up to be a very popular property coming soon to a tabletop near you!

Who’s team will you be on, Wizard?
