Add a touch of darkness to your armies with the Horus Heresy Traitor Overseer model from Games Workshop. Experience the brutal presence of the Warmaster’s ruthless commanders.
This new grim figure embodies everything sinister about the Traitor legions during the Age of Darkness, making it a must-have for players looking to add a touch of terror to their armies. With its dark, menacing details and brutal presence, this Overseer is a perfect representation of the Warmaster’s most ruthless commanders.
New Horus Heresy Traitor Overseer
Overseers were experienced Space Marines promoted to manage mortal auxiliaries during the Horus Heresy. Loyalist Overseers were all about inspiring their troops, leading from the front with impressive power mauls and speeches that stirred the hearts of their human allies.
Traitor Overseers, on the other hand, took a much darker approach. These guys didn’t bother with speeches—they used fear.
Overseers were more than just figureheads—they made their human troops way more effective. Thanks to their Overseer’s Retinue rule, you could field up to three Solar Auxilia or Imperialis Militia units as part of their Force Organisation slot.
These squads even got the Legiones Auxilia rule, tying them to the Space Marine Legion they served. This boosted their abilities and made them a valuable asset to any battle plan.
Why Overseers Are Awesome
Overseer Consuls didn’t get the most glamorous assignments, but they were crucial to the war effort. They bridged the gap between Space Marines and human soldiers, keeping their forces effective in the thick of battle during the Horus Heresy.
Whether you’re running a Loyalist force full of inspiration or a Traitor army that thrives on fear, adding an Overseer to your tabletop lineup brings a ton of tactical options—and a lot of narrative flair.
