Last weekend was our big birthday weekend dubbed “SpikeyCon”, and it was a blast.
We had a ton of people come out for the event, and 30 brave souls played 40k until 3am Sunday Morning.
During the day, we had some great seminars by Jawaballs (terrain building), and Kenny from Next Level Painting (airbrushing) as well as four hours of rotating game demos in our spacious gaming area.
Then everything was cleared off to make room for our big 40k tournament that boasted an impressive 30 players who battled into the wee hours of the morning for almost $300 in prizes!
Checkout the coverage below, and keep us in mind when you make your plans for next June!
Thanks for everyone who helped make this event the best it could be, and to everyone who came out for demos, fun, and mmm cupcakes!!! -MBG
