Sebulba is not about to let the upstart podracer, Anakin Skywalker, ruin his title. Sebulba is ready to race in Star Wars Destiny!
The meanest podracer in the galaxy, Sebulba is all about fighting dirty to win at all costs. This 9 health Yellow Villain character weighs in at 9 points base or 12 points Elite. Sebulba has utility besides podracing as his character die features damage options. 2 ranged, 2 indirect, 1 disrupt, 1 resource, and a special ability make Sebulba dangerous no matter the situation. His special ability allows you to place 1 resource on a support in play or remove 1 resource from a support in play. This may not look like much, but combined with the Boonta Eve Classic plot card, it all makes sense.
The Boonta Eve Classic is a 2 point plot that is all about winning the money by podracing. After you resolve one of your podracer dice, you may place 1 resource on that podracer. If there are 4 or more resources on it, set aside each copy of Boonta Eve and gain 4 resources. The race is on to get 4 resources on a podracer, and Sebulba can add 1 resource or remove 1 as needed to make sure that he wins!
Sebulba is bringing his top of the line podracer to the Boonta Eve. This 2 cost Yellow Support has damage output and Ambush to boot. 1 indirect, 2 indirect for a resource, 1 disrupt, 1 discard, and 1 shield make for an interesting support. It also has an ability that kicks in after you resolve its die; you may deal 1 indirect damage to an opponent or, if you spot Sebulba, deal 1 damage to a character. Sebulba is all about winning, but he doesn’t mind dealing some damage along the way!
To really cash in on the Boonta Eve, how about some Podracer Betting? This 1 cost Event, allows you to choose a number. Then re-roll one of your vehicle dice. Of that die just rolled a value equal to the number you chose, gain 2 resources, or 3 resource instead if it was a podracer die. Place your bets and roll the dice for some big cash prizes!
To round out the podracing theme, the Mos Espa Arena is your best bet for a battlefield. For its claim ability, you may force an opponent to choose to either lose 1 resource or have you gain 1 resource. Spot a podracer to do both instead. It’s a race to see who will have the big stack of resources at the end of the Boont Eve Classic! Start your engines!
