Han Solo is leading a strike team of Rebel Commandos deep in to enemy territory. They have a knack for causing trouble and escaping with uncanny luck!
Han is a very unorthodox commander for the Rebels in Legion. His abilities rely on his scoundrel luck to get him out of tough situations and his skill with a blaster is unmatched. Han has a Low Profile, which gives him additional cover by 1 in light cover.
Combined with his Uncanny Luck, which allows him to re-roll up to 3 of his defense dice, Han is one slippery Rebel. Once the shooting starts, Han can use his Gunslinger and Sharpshooter skills to fire at 2 different targets and negate their cover by 1. Not bad for a smuggler!
Just like on their mission to Endor, Han is bringing along a squad of Rebel Commandos. These hardy troops have similar abilities to Han, having a Low Profile to improve their cover and Sharpshooter to weaken enemy cover when performing a ranged attack. These Commandos are also eager to get into the fight with the Scout ability which allows them to perform a speed 2 move after deployment. Rebel Commandos have different weapon options, and a Sniper is a perfect addition to these scouts.
Upgrades & Commands
A DH-447 Sniper upgrade adds a new mini to the Rebel Commando squad and gives them some long-range punch. This weapon has High Velocity, which allows it to ignore dodge tokens on its targets. Pierce 1 allows you to also cancel 1 shield result on the defender’s defense dice, making sure that whoever is targeted by your Sniper will go down. Most importantly, this weapon has no range limitation, being able to fire at any range past 1.
Han being the reckless Rebel that he is, his command choices are often improvised. Reckless Diversion lets Han shine by forcing an enemy to attack Han and 1 trooper unit that has a face-up order token. With Low Profile on both Han and the Commandos, being targeted should not be a problem, and Han can always rely on his Uncanny Luck to keep him in the fight, But luck runs out, so it’s best to have a contingency plan.
Emergency Stims is a gear upgrade that can keep your Rebel Commandos in the fight for an extra turn. During an attack, when you would suffer wounds, prevent up to 2 wounds and place an equal number of wound tokens on Emergency Stims. At the end of your next activation, discard each token on this card and suffer wounds equal to the number of wounds discarded. This allows your Commandos to have another full activation after using a Reckless Diversion.
